Reports in Germany note Milan interest in Eintracht Frankfurt winger Lindstrom

Milan are one of the clubs particularly interested in making a move to sign winger Jesper Lindstrom from Eintracht Frankfurt this summer according to reports from German outlet Bild.

After the return of Brahim Diaz to parent club Real Madrid at the end of the 2022-23 season, the Rossoneri are in need of reinforcements on the right flank to accompany Rafael Leao, who has his position on Stefano Pioli’s left wing locked down.

Lindstrom has impressed over the course of this season. Aged 23, he racked up nine goals and four assists over the most recent campaign, following on from his Rookie of the Year award the previous season.

The Dane, who already has 10 caps for his nation’s senior side, is reported by Bild to only be interested in proposals from teams in the Champions League.

Milan and Newcastle are said to be the two sides with the most concrete interest, but Eintracht have reportedly set the price tag at €30m-€40m.

Milan have other options to assess as well, with Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal thought to be a genuine possibility, whilst talks with Chelsea for Christian Pulisic also continue according to reports over the weekend.
