Reports growing PSG will beat Milan to Renato Sanches

Reports are spreading rapidly that Paris Saint-Germain will beat Milan to Renato Sanches, because the offer is only half the €30m asking price set by Lille.

The Portugal international has agreed terms with Milan for many weeks and had also been close to a potential transfer in January.

However, the Rossoneri are nowhere near matching the €30m asking price, as they have so far proposed only a maximum of €15m.

Sanches will be out of contract in June 2023, which is why they hope to low-ball the offer, but now have serious competition from PSG.

After le10sport suggested Paris Saint-Germain had begun negotiations, now respected RMC Sport also claim the talks are in full flow.

New PSG director Luis Campos previously worked at LOSC and so did the man who will take over as coach in Paris, Christophe Galtier.

This would be the second player Milan risk losing because of a low offer to Lille, as they are in a similar situation with Newcastle United ready to pay circa double their proposal for defender Sven Botman.
