Report: Milan set up meeting to close De Ketelaere deal

Milan‘s bid to sign Charles De Ketelaere could be set for a positive conclusion if reports in Italy are to be believed.

This rollercoaster transfer saga has reportedly seen the Rossoneri and Club Brugge close and determined to seal a deal but unable to find an agreement.

However, Sport Italia among other outlets report a meeting set for Tuesday in Lugano, Switzerland could see Milan finalise the signing.

The report suggests Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massaro will traver to Lugano on Tuesday to meet their Brugge counterparts to thrash out a deal.

A recent meeting in Belgium with Maldini and Massaro reportedly ended positively but without an agreement.

It had been expected a deal would soon follow but the two sides have so far been unable to find a compromise.

The Rossoneri are not the only club interested in De Ketelaere’s services if reports are to be believed with Premier League duo Leeds United and Everton also ready to make a move.
