The 33-year-old is expected to leave Chelsea this winter, in search of regular game time as he looks to secure his place in France’s Euro 2020 squad.

However, the broadcaster believes Inter are the favourites for his signature, along with their Champions League rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The Nerazzurri would also be looking at reinforcements in midfield, with Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul the player in their sights.

De Paul is understood to be very keen on a move to the blue side of San Siro, but his club are demanding €35m for a January sale.
