Real Madrid set Asensio price tag for Milan and Arsenal

According to Marca, Real Madrid will not offer a new contract to Marco Asensio and want €30m to sell him in the summer.

The Spaniard’s deal at the Santiago Bernabeu runs out in June 2023 and according to the Spanish paper, he hasn’t received an offer to extend his stay at the club.

The Merengues value their star at €30m, so they can either sell him in the summer or see him leave on a free transfer in one year.

Asensio is one of Milan‘s targets for the right flank and according to the report, the Serie A champions are currently the most interested club in securing his services.

Premier League sides are also keeping tabs on the Spain international and Arsenal are believed to be among the clubs interested. Asensio’s previous agents revealed in April that the Gunners were interested in signing him.

The 26-year-old changed his representative a few weeks later, picking Jorge Mendes. The Portuguese agent has recently met Real Madrid directors, who reportedly confirmed their decision of not offering his client a new contract.

Asensio isn’t Milan’s only target for the right flank as the Rossoneri are also monitoring Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech and Club Brugge’s Noa Lang.
