Ranieri: ‘Roma should’ve done more’

Claudio Ranieri admits Roma “should have done more” during their disappointing stalemate with Brescia.

The Giallorossi took a long time to get into gear this evening and took the lead through Marco Borriello, but Eder equalised.

“We wanted to win and knew that a victory would represent an important step forward,” said the Coach of this 1-1 home draw.

“Credit goes to Brescia, as they put in a determined performance, but we should have done more tonight.

“Unfortunately it happens in football, as they had two shots on target that resulted in one goal and one great Julio Sergio save on to the crossbar.”

Brescia represent a bête noir for Roma, as they beat the Giallorossi 2-1 earlier this season.
