PSG to meet Inter over Skriniar today, but price tag has changed

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms PSG are still interested in signing Inter star Milan Skriniar and will make an improved bid in a meeting in Milano today, but the defender’s price tag has increased.

The Slovakia international is a long-time target of the Ligue 1 giants, who saw two offers rejected at the beginning of the summer.

According to Gazzetta, PSG directors will meet Inter today to formalise the third offer, but the Serie A giants are unlikely to sell.

The pink paper claims PSG will offer €60m plus €5m add-ons. Inter wanted €70m to sell Skriniar earlier this summer, but the scenario has now changed. Given that only two weeks remain before the end of the summer transfer window, the Nerazzurri will only consider offers in the region of €80-90m.

Coach Simone Inzaghi doesn’t expect any star to leave and has stressed that the transfer window ‘has closed’ except for a centre-back the Nerazzurri still need to sign to replace Andrea Ranocchia.
