According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Milan are set to reward Theo Hernandez with a new contract, but PSG have set their sights on the French defender.
Scorer of 16 goals in 87 appearances with the Rossoneri, Theo moved to Milan in 2019, completing a €20m move from Real Madrid.
On Wednesday, the Frenchman was the Man of the Match against Venezia as he came off the bench to provide an assist and score a goal in the Rossoneri’s 2-0 over the newly-promoted side.
His contract at San Siro expires in June 2024 and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Diavoli are considering rewarding their star defender with a new contract.
The club’s directors also want to sit down with the player and his representative due to PSG’s interest.
The Ligue 1 giants have been linked with the former Real Madrid man for quite a long time and the Rossoneri want to warn off interest from PSG by offering Theo a contract extension.
However, Milan’s priority remains to extend Franck Kessié’s contract as his deal at San Siro runs out in the summer.
PSG already did business with Italian players and Serie A clubs over the summer, having signed Gigio Donnarumma as a free agent from Milan and Achraf Hakimi from Inter.
