Probable Serie A line-ups: Juventus vs Empoli

Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus are looking to keep things on track in their Serie A clash against Empoli tonight.

The match between the Bianconeri and the Azzurri kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Allianz Stadium.

Last week was a difficult one for Juventus, who lost a key Champions League match against Maccabi Haifa 2-0. It was the worst moment of the season for Allegri and his squad, but they did bounce back in the Derby della Mole, beating intercity rivals Torino 1-0. They’ll be hoping that the derby is the start of an upswing in form.

Empoli’s last outing was an edgy 1-0 win over Monza and they’ll be dreaming of an upset in Turin tonight as they look to get comfortable in the middle of the Serie A table.

Juventus have a number of absences heading into tonight’s match; Gleison Bremer, Mattia De Sciglio, Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Angel Di Maria and Kaio Jorge are all unavailable due to injury.

Empoli have to do without Ardian Ismajli, Lorenzo Tonelli, Alberto Grassi and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro.
