Probable line-ups: Inter vs. Salernitana

Simone Inzaghi will look to struggling Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko against a Salernitana side that has collected more points than the Nerazzurri in 2022.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Stadio Meazza in Milan.

Inter haven’t won in the last five games across all competitions, failing to score in the last four matches in a row. Just one goal for Dzeko in the last nine league appearances, while Lautaro has yet to score in 2022, they are both expected to start tonight.

Inzaghi won’t rotate much despite Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield Road. Ivan Perisic could rest and the same is true of Stefan de Vrij and Hakan Calhanoglu. If they start on the bench, they’ll be replaced by Andrea Ranocchia, Matteo Darmian and Roberto Gagliardini respectively.

The reverse fixture in December ended 5-0 for the Nerazzurri, but the Granata have collected more points than Inter in 2022: nine to six.

Franck Ribery is not available after being involved in a car accident this week. He was diagnosed with a head injury which will keep him out of action for approximately seven days.

Salernitana have always conceded at least one goal in away games this season. They picked up for draws in the last four Serie A games and circa 6,000 fans will travel from Salerno to watch in Milan the match tonight.
