Probable line-ups: Atleti-Juve

Juventus will reportedly drop Joao Cancelo for tonight’s Champions League last-16 first leg against Atletico Madrid.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Mattia De Sciglio [pictured] will get the nod at right-back, while Paulo Dybala has been confirmed to start, despite prior reports suggesting Cancelo could take the right wing.

Elsewhere, Douglas Costa and Sami Khedira are not in the squad, the latter diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat, so Rodrigo Bentancur and Blaise Matuidi will complement Miralem Pjanic in central midfield.

At the back, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini will protect Wojciech Szczesny and Cristiano Ronaldo will start on his favoured left flank against his third-favourite opponents, given he has put 22 goals past them.

Atleti, for their part, are without French World Cup winner Lucas Hernandez at left-back but should partner Antoine Griezmann with former Bianconeri striker Alvaro Morata up top.

The match will be officiated by German referee Felix Zwayer, who has never presided over a match involving these two teams before.

It will also be played at the Spaniards’ home of Wanda Metropolitano, which will host the Final on June 1.
