Cesare Prandelli has again underlined that a decision on whether he remains as Italy boss or not will be made before the World Cup Finals.

“When we go to Brazil everyone will be aware of my future,” the former Parma and Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”5″>Fiorentina tactician told La Repubblica. “I’m meet with the Federation, where we will talk with calmness.
“The fans still want me in Azzurro? That’s nice to know. I thank them as we have tried to bring the national side closer to the people.”
The Azzurri have qualified for the South American event with two games to spare, giving Prandelli some extra time to experiment.
“I’ll have an opportunity over the next few games to take a closer look at certain players who haven’t played that much.”
His plans are unlikely to feature Genoa playmaker Francesco Lodi though despite his impressive start to the campaign.
“Lodi has had some extraordinary seasons, but we have preferred to focus on Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti for the future.”
Prandelli was also asked for his opinion on a rejuvenated Inter and the chances of Italian clubs in Europe this term.
“Inter can fight until the very end. They have quality, physical prowess and order.
“I think the Derby d’Italia against Juventus showed that both clubs are working well. In general, I’m seeing some good quality football – Italian sides are offering some good things. It will be an interesting championship.
“Europe? All of our sides have the ability to do something significant this season, also because they have signed players with quality and temperament.”
