Pioli: I instantly said yes

Stefano Pioli claims that he had no hesitation is accepting the job of replacing Delio Rossi at Palermo.

Pioli was confirmed in the role earlier today after he signed a two-year contract with an option for a third.

Pioli was targeted by the Rosanero after he successfully kept little Chievo Verona in the Italian top flight.

He also spoke about becoming the Roma boss with sporting director Walter Sabatini a few weeks ago, but they are now likely to hire Barcelona B team boss Luis Enrique.
