SPAL forward Andrea Petagna has started a movement to help support the fight against the coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
The 24-year-old, who is currently loaned out to the Biancazzurri after completing a move to Napoli last month, has revealed that he is one of the players and managers in football who started to mobilise in the fight against the virus outbreak causing an emergency in Italy.

The 24-year-old, who is currently loaned out to the Biancazzurri after completing a move to Napoli last month, has revealed that he is one of the players and managers in football who started to mobilise in the fight against the virus outbreak causing an emergency in Italy.
“Hi, I’m Andrea Petagna and I play in Serie A at SPAL,” he started the message on Instagram. “I was lucky enough to turn my passion into my job and earn a lot of money.
“Today, more than ever, I feel the need to help those who need it. This is why I created a movement, our movement.
“#WeWon’tLeaveAnyoneBehind is our movement, because in Italy there can’t be patients of Serie A and patients of Serie B.
“Anyone who is at risk, of any age, MUST BE SAVED. I decided to open a crowdfunding campaign linked to the Italian public hospitals. The first one we will help, will be the Niguarda of Milan. They need five resuscitation stations with a total value of €350,000.
