Today Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani met with Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis and immediately spoke to GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
“We talked about many things, including Lapadula. Napoli know him, but now we have to focus on the end of the season and then we’ll think about the transfer market.
“But yes, I can confirm that Napoli are interested in Lapadula.”
There are reports a deal is close to completion for €8m plus another €2m in performance-related bonuses.
Napoli have decided to step up talks quickly to beat competition from Juventus, Leicester City and Genoa.
