Pellegrini ‘to miss Roma-Madrid’

Lorenzo Pellegrini will reportedly miss Roma’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday, but Robin Olsen and Kostas Manolas should be back.

According to ItaSportPress, Pellegrini underwent tests at Villa Stuart clinic on Monday, which showed ‘a grade-I flexor injury’.

Consequently, the midfielder is expected to miss the visit of Madrid and instead could return against Cagliari on December 8.

However, the website believes Olsen be back in goal against Madrid after missing the Giallorossi’s 1-0 defeat to Udinese.

The Swede should be joined on the field by the similarly fit-again Daniele De Rossi, Javier Pastore and Manolas, the latter of whom looks to have recovered from an ankle injury.
