Cesena technical director Lorenzo Minotti believes the team's in-form midfielder Marco Parolo deserves a call up to the Italy squad.
The 26-year-old has shone in recent weeks, getting on the scoresheet against Sampdoria and Juventus, as Cesena attempt to survive relegation.
"The absence of international experience and his having played just one year in Serie A penalises him," Minotti explained.
"But he is a complete player, a modern footballer who has the right mentality.
