Napoli loanee Victor Osimhen shone in Galatasaray’s 3-1 win over José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce last night, providing a chest assist for another ex-Partenopei star, Dries Mertens.

Osimhen’s Galatasaray secured an away 3-1 win in the Istanbul derby on Saturday night. The Nigerian striker, on loan from Napoli, contributed to his team’s victory with a stunning chest assist in the first half.

Osimhen set up ex-Napoli star Mertens for Galatasaray’s second goal after just 28 minutes.

Former Fiorentina and Samp star Lucas Torreira scored and assisted once, while Edin Dzeko scored the only goal for the home side.

After the match, Galatasaray mocked Fenerbahce boss Mourinho, a former Inter and Roma coach, calling him ‘the Crying one’ on X, formerly Twitter.

Only a few days ago, Mou had praised Osimhen but said that the Napoli loanee dived “too much.”
