Official: Juventus hire Brambilla and Montero as youth coaches

Juventus have officially appointed Massimo Brambilla as their new Under-23 coach, while ex-defender Paolo Montero is their Under-19 tactician.

The Bianconeri confirmed the news in a single press release and both appointments show a great deal of ambition for the youth sector.

Brambilla was poached from the famous Atalanta youth academy, where he spent seven years helping shepherd through new talents.

Juventus are the only club with an Under-23 team playing in Serie C, as no other sides took up the option to create this B-team.

Montero is still a legend among Juventus fans, having played there in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The Uruguayan also had an experience at Atalanta before moving to Juve for nine years and hung up his boots in 2007.

Montero was in Serie C last season at the helm of Sambenedettese, then returned to Argentina for San Lorenzo, so has taken a step down to the Juve youth team.
