Official: Ibrahimovic extends at Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has officially signed a new contract with Milan until June 2022 and it’s reported to be worth €7m per season.

The 39-year-old’s current deal was due to expire on June 30, but he negotiated an extension to stay at San Siro beyond his 40th birthday.

He turns 40 on October 3, so early into the 2021-22 Serie A season.

This is Ibra’s second spell in the Rossoneri jersey after 2010-12, as he returned in January 2020.
