Juventus have announced that Genoa have signed Stefano Sturaro permanently in a €16.5m deal.
Sturaro was initially thought to have re-joined Genoa on loan with obligation to buy last month, but a statement on Juve’s official website confirmed on Wednesday that ‘pre-established contractual conditions’ had been met for the purchase option to be brought forward.

Consequently, the Grifone have agreed to pay the Bianconeri €16.5m for the midfielder over the next four years.
The 25-year-old has not made an official appearance all season but was named a substitute in each of the Rossoblu’s last two Serie A games.
