Official: Calhanoglu signs new Inter contract

After Alessandro Bastoni, Inter have also formally announced that Hakan Calhanoglu extended his contract to June 2027.

This has been a busy day for the Nerazzurri, who are locking down their most valuable players for the foreseeable future, as well as striking a deal to bring Davide Frattesi to San Siro from Sassuolo.

Defender Bastoni extended his contract with Inter to June 2028, while midfielder Calhanoglu put pen to paper on a new deal that runs to June 2027.

The 29-year-old Turkey international made the very unusual move of crossing the city from Milan to rivals Inter as a free agent in the summer of 2021.

His previous deal had been due to expire in June 2024, but an extension never seemed to be in doubt, as he has flourished on this side of San Siro with 12 goals and 21 assists in 95 appearances for the club.

Calhanoglu has won two editions of the Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana trophies with them.
