Video – Parma announce Buffon: ‘Superman returns’

Parma have officially announced the return of Gianluigi Buffon, who has signed a two-year deal with the Gialloblu.

The 43-year-old leaves Juventus after two seasons as back-up to Wojciech Szczesny and returns to be the protagonist at the Ennio Tardini.

The Ducali have confirmed Buffon returns to Parma, 20 years after leaving for Juventus in July 2001.

Buffon won the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana and the UEFA Cup during his first spell with the Crociati.

The World Cup winner from 2006 has since picked up 10 Scudetti with Juventus and one Ligue 1 title during his season with Paris Saint-Germain in 2018-19.
