Sky Sport Italia reports that Premier League side Nottingham Forest have sent a formal offer for Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove.

Sky Sport transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Nottingham Forest have sent a formal offer for 22-year-old Roma midfielder Bove.

The Italian has yet to play under Daniele De Rossi this season, as he remained on the bench in Serie A games against Cagliari and Empoli.

Bove had already been linked with a move to Everton this summer.

Sky Sport did not report how much Forest offered, but it is understood that the Giallorossi are open to listening to proposals.

Several sources, including Corriere dello Sport, reported over the last few days that Roma would consider bids for Bove, Bryan Cristante, or Leandro Paredes.

Bove made 45 appearances across all competitions last season, providing two assists.

The Giallorossi welcomed Kevin Danso to the capital on Wednesday. The Austria international is ready to complete an initial loan move with an obligation to buy from Lens.
