No Tevez or Balzaretti PSG bids

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has rejected claims that the club have made moves for Carlos Tevez and Federico Balzaretti.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has rejected claims that the club have made moves for Carlos Tevez and Federico Balzaretti.

Manchester City striker Tevez has agreed personal terms with Milan, but the Italian side are rumoured to be facing competition from PSG for his January services.

“We have never made a formal offer to Tevez or to the club for that matter,” Leonardo told L’Equipe on Thursday.

The Argentine striker is looking for a new club after falling out with City boss Roberto Mancini in September.

Meanwhile, the former Milan and Inter tactician has dismissed speculation that Balzaretti will arrive from Palermo in the New Year,

“It’s clear that he won’t come to PSG,” the Brazilian is quoted as saying. “Everyone knows that, including the player and Palermo.”

Reports in France yesterday suggested that the Italian international was in the country talking to PSG. Palermo later denied that story.

Balzaretti would like a move to Paris as his wife performs as a ballerina in the French capital.
