Napoli are closing in on Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini, but require a further meeting to clarify image rights.

The Vesuviani are believed to have already agreed an initial €11m deal to pick up the forward co-owned by Samp and Juventus.

Yesterday reports were of a salary agreement worth between €1.4m and €1.5m-a-season for five years, but that issues involving image rights were holding up signatures.

The Gazzetta dello Sport today reiterate that an economic agreement has been reached between the club and Gabbiadini's agent Silvio Pagliari, but that the image rights issue remains outstanding.

The paper conclude that a further meeting is needed to finalise what is seen as the key remaining barrier to the January transfer’s completion.

The Gazzetta also reports that Napoli have made an official offer for Dnipro full-back Ivan Strinic, though the official figures are as of yet undisclosed.
