Although Canada were eliminated at the first hurdle, many individuals on the team impressed clubs across Europe, something that could have a knock-on effect in the January transfer window.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are keeping a close eye on Canadian winger Buchanan, who showed positive signs at the World Cup. The 23-year-old is contracted to Club Brugge until 2025.
The Belgian outfit value Buchanan at around €12m, an affordable price for the Partenopei, and the club are now considering their options ahead of the January transfer window.
This season, the 23-year-old Canadian winger has scored one goal and provided two assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
