Mou uncertain of Kaka’s future

Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is just as uncertain as Milan over the prospect of Ricardo Kaka returning to Italy this summer.

Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is just as uncertain as Milan over the prospect of Ricardo Kaka returning to Italy this summer.

Mourinho held a 45-minute meeting with the Brazilian attacker earlier this, where he reportedly made it clear to the 30-year-old that he will not be in his first team plans for the coming season.

Reports soon linked former side Milan with making the first bid for the player who they sold to Los Blancos in 2009 for €65m.

However, following on from Adriano Galliani’s admittance that the player’s €10m-a-year wages could be a stumbling block to any potential deal, Mourinho has reflected that Kaka may indeed stay with Real.

“I don’t know if he will leave or not. Anything can happen,” reflected the Portuguese to reporters in Lisbon this evening, ahead of his team’s friendly with Benfica.

“It may also be that he remains in Madrid for next season. If that is so then I will be happy as we have a good relationship.

“Between us there are no secrets – he knows what I think and vice versa.”

Mourinho omitted Kaka from Real Madrid’s squad for this week’s friendly with Oviedo, but has included him in tonight’s plans for facing Benfica.
