Stefano Pioli has revealed Jan-Carlo Simic won’t be included in Milan‘s Europa League squad so the Rossoneri’s UEFA list for the second part of the campaign can already be revealed.

Pioli said at a press conference on Friday that the only doubt regarding the UEFA list for knock-out games in the second part of the campaign was between Simic and new signing Filippo Terracciano.

However, as reported by Milannews, Pioli confirmed on Friday that the ex-Hellas Verona defender is the chosen one, so Simic will only be available for Serie A matches in the second part of the season. Terracciano will replace the injured Mattia Caldara in the Rossoneri’s Europa League squad.

Matteo Gabbia will also be included in Milan’s UEFA list. The product of the club’s Academy returned from a loan spell at Villarreal in January.

Likewise, Ismael Bennacer was snubbed from Milan’s Champions League squad in the first part of the campaign due to a knee injury, but the Algeria international is now ready to contribute and will be available for European games from February.

Here’s Milan Europa League squad, which the Rossoneri are expected to confirm in the coming hours.
