Milan tried to cheer up their French stars Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez after Les Blues’ elimination in the EURO 2024 semifinals.

Maignan and Theo’s France lost 2-1 to Spain on Tuesday night and were, therefore, eliminated from the EURO 2024 semifinals.

Milan reacted to France’s defeat on X, formerly Twitter, telling their star duo to “Stand tall and be proud.”

Maignan was one of the best goalkeepers in the tournament and had conceded just one goal prior to last night’s match.

Theo played every minute in the tournament and scored a decisive penalty kick in a shootout against Portugal in the previous round.

Both players will enjoy a few days of holiday before resuming preparation for the new campaign under Milan coach Paulo Fonseca.

The Rossoneri have already begun preparation at Milanello with their new boss.

Theo threw his Milan future in doubt during the Euros, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic said he was confident the Frenchman would remain at the club.
