Multiple sources in Italy claim Milan are preparing for Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s medical after reaching an agreement with Chelsea.

Calciomercato.com and Sky Sport Italia claim the Rossoneri have reached a full agreement with the Blues so the Serie A giants are now organising the English midfielder’s trip to Italy, where he will undergo his medical with the Diavoli.

Milan are expected to pay circa €20m, including add-ons to get RLC.

On paper, he is the replacement for Sandro Tonali, who will soon complete a transfer worth more than €70m to Newcastle United.

Loftus-Cheek is expected to land in Italy in the next few days to undergo his medical checks and complete a permanent move to the Stadio Meazza.

A product of Chelsea Academy, the 27-year-old has played 155 matches with the Blues, scoring 13 goals.

Former Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi praised the England international in his latest interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday.

Meantime, Milan continue talks with Chelsea, hoping to sign RLC’s teammate Christian Pulisic.
