The Sky Sport Italia journalist explains ‘at least €40m will be needed’ on the Rossoneri’s part and that they are keen to have another forward lined up if Gonzalo Higuain leaves for Chelsea.

On the other hand, AS reports Madrid have ‘already contacted’ Piatek’s camp as they look to ‘reinforce their attacking line’ following recent injuries to Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

The newspaper also claims to have confirmation from the Grifone of talks taking place between the 23-year-old and Los Blancos, although it stresses no offers have yet been made.

Elsewhere, Cadena SER believes both Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are also in the frame for the Pole.

Both stories come on the same day that Piatek had reportedly expressed a desire to join the Diavolo.
