The agent of Tottenham right-back Emerson Royal was in Milan on Monday afternoon and was in for a meeting at the Rossoneri headquarters, Casa Milan, as reported by several outlets in Italy.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, Emerson’s agent and representatives from Milan held an ‘exploratory’ meeting to discuss the player’s availability ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is understood that the Brazilian is set to leave Spurs over the next few months, and Milan, who are in the market for a right-back, have been linked with a move for several weeks now.
The North London club are planning to continue with Pedro Porro as their first-choice right-back, which would leave Emerson with a lack of consistent first-team game time. He is still under contract in North London until 2026.

Tottenham reportedly value the player in the region of €30m.
He is, however, not the only right-back that Milan have been evaluating, according to Calciomercato. Lille’s 21-year-old Portuguese defender Tiago Santos is also of interest, and is likely to cost a fraction of the price, as he is estimated to be worth around €10m-€12m.
