La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will remain at Milan in 2024-25 alongside Tijjani Reijnders, Malick Thiaw and Ismael Bennacer, but others are expected to leave.
Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic’s impact at San Siro have already convinced the Rossoneri directors to keep both players for 2024-25, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Regardless of who the next coach will be, RLC and Pulisic have put in convincing performances this season after completing permanent transfers from Chelsea last summer.
Gazzetta names the Milan players who are not expected to leave, mentioning the former Chelsea pair, Reijnders, Yunus Musah, Bennacer and Thiaw.
On the other hand, it is not guaranteed that all the Rossoneri stars will stay beyond the summer.
Rafael Leao has been linked with a move to PSG, but the Portuguese has a €175m clause in his contract at San Siro.
According to Gazzetta, Mike Maignan has been monitored by Bayern Munich and PSG, but the Ligue 1 giants are also interested in Theo. Fikayo Tomori has also attracted interest from top European clubs, while Simon Kjaer is unlikely to sign a contract extension with the Serie A giants.
The future of Alessandro Florenzi, Matteo Gabbia and Olivier Giroud hasn’t been determined yet, while Luka Jovic can only convince Milan to extend his contract by continuing to score consistently in the second part of 2023-24.
