Milan finalising arrival of Kamada – report

Milan are preparing to welcome Daichi Kamada on a free transfer and have set up the usual pre-transfer medicals, reports detail.

The 26-year-old Japanese midfielder is ready to leave Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of this month when his contract expires. He’s impressed during his time in Germany, scoring 40 goals and providing 33 assists in 179 games across all competitions.

A tactically flexible player, Kamada is able to play as either an attacking playmaker or a central midfielder, as well as a left winger when needed, giving Stefano Pioli more options in his squad choices.

As reported by TMW, Milan duo Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada have been hard at work finalising the details of Kamada’s free transfer to Milan and are ready to welcome the Japanese midfielder.

The 26-year-old will head to the Lombardy capital later this month to undergo his medicals before putting pen to paper on a four-year contract worth €3m net per season.
