Milan’s official in-house television channel has reported that there are talks with Liverpool for the permanent transfer of Mario Balotelli.

Reports of potential negotiations between the Reds and the Rossoneri were first denied by the Milanese yesterday, before indications by the evening were that talks on an initial loan deal were advancing.

Now the Diavolo’s in-house television service Milan Channel is reporting that negotiations between the two clubs are indeed on, and they are for the ‘outright sale of Mario Balotelli’.

Sky Sports are also running this line, with the 24-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola reported as in England.

First reports this week on a potential deal spoke of a move at around the €22m mark.

Milan are seen as in continued talks for a number of transfer targets in the market, including Alessio Cerci and Blerim Dzemaili, but in need of raising funds to push those through.
