Milan: Biglia done, Conti close?

Milan are reportedly on the verge of signing Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia but are €7m away from meeting Atalanta’s asking price for Andrea Conti.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio sporting director Igli Tare was in Milan on Thursday afternoon to strike a deal with the Rossoneri for €22m.

Furthermore, the Argentine has already “accepted” a three-year contract worth €3.5m a season, which includes the option for a fourth term.

A medical is also scheduled once Biglia returns from international duty, although the Diavolo are said to be keeping Paris Saint-Germain’s Grzegorz Krychowiak on speed dial.

Regarding Conti, Gazzetta reports Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli offered a five-year, €10m contract to the player’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, on Thursday.

The right-back would be happy with those terms, but the newspaper notes Milan’s bid of €18m plus bonuses is €7m below Atalanta’s valuation.
