Milan agree contract terms with Miranda – report

Reports suggest that Milan have now agreed to the terms of a contract with Juan Miranda, who has just seven months left on his deal with Real Betis.

The Rossoneri have been looking for a new left back since the summer transfer window, having decided to cut Fode Ballo-Toure from Stefano Pioli’s squad. Whilst Theo Hernandez is a key star in the squad, his lack of reliable backup puts the club in an awkward position.

Miranda quickly emerged as one of Milan’s top options. The talented 23-year-old is set to leave Real Betis on a free transfer next summer, having decided not to pen a new deal with the club. Last season, he scored three goals and provided two assists across 21 league games.

As reported by TMW, Milan met with Miranda’s entourage last week and reached a verbal agreement regarding the terms of a contract. The two parties spoke again in recent days as they work to finalise the deal.

The Rossoneri now need to decide whether to bring in the Spaniard in January, which would require them to find a deal with Real Betis, or wait until next summer.
