Medicals set for Romero at Milan, Lucca at Udinese

There are a couple of done deals for strikers and medicals set up for Milan to sign Luka Romero and Udinese getting Lorenzo Lucca.

The transfer window is in full swing and several agreements have already been reached.

Romero left Lazio at the end of his contract and accepted the personal terms proposed by Milan.

He is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday, then put pen to paper on the four-year contract that will bring him circa €800,000 per season in wages.

Romero will be the third Milan signing of the summer after Marco Sportiello as a free agent and Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Also on Thursday, Italy Under-21 international striker Lucca should have his medical with Udinese.

The centre-forward spent last season on loan at Ajax, who did not take up their option to make the move permanent.

Lucca is set to join Udinese from Pisa on loan with an option to buy set at €8m.

Sky Sport Italia claim the two clubs have exchanged documents this evening.
