Man Utd turn to Hysaj

Manchester United are turning to Napoli for Elseid Hysaj, claim Sky Sport Italia, as he’d cost less than half what Crystal Palace are asking for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Their interest in Wan-Bissaka is well-known, but Palace have rejected multiple offers for the England Under-21 international and are believed to be holding out for £60m (around €67.5m).

The most recent proposal is believed to be worth £40m (€45m), including various add-ons.

With that in mind, Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Manchester United have turned their attention towards a far more affordable full-back.

Napoli have put Hysaj on the market with interest from Atletico Madrid and Juventus, but so far nobody has reached the €25m (£22.2m) asking price.

That is less than half what Crystal Palace are asking for Wan-Bissaka and would be relatively easy to get the deal sorted out quickly.
