Man Utd can have Donnarumma for €60m

Manchester United have been quoted a €60m price-tag for Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to the Corriere della Sera.

The interest in Donnarumma is nothing new, but the stars are aligning to make it a strong possibility it could finally happen this summer.

He is still only 20 years old, but already a veteran of Serie A with 142 games under his belt and a regular Italy international with 12 senior caps.

As Milan are changing their strategy this summer and will need to cut costs amid Financial Fair Play issues, Donnarumma is the most likely name to be sold on.

This is because he’d command the highest transfer fee and, having come out of their youth academy, would represent a massive profit.

He is also the highest earning player in the squad, so that salary would be off their books too.

According to the Corriere della Sera newspaper, Manchester United have asked agent Mino Raiola about Donnarumma’s availability and Milan would demand around €60m.

Considering his age and proven pedigree, that’d be something of a bargain for the Premier League side, who won’t extend their contract with want-away David De Gea.
