Malagò has claimed that Lazio could benefit from being able to focus on only one competition during the decisive months of the season.
“It seems to me an acquired fact that Juve’s dictatorship is over,” he told the Corriere dello Sport. “I’ll use common sense when I reason: those who are concentrating on one competition can put all their physical and mental energies into it.
“Lazio have this condition. If I think about Inter’s uncertainties in the calendar, also because of the coronavirus, I wouldn’t want to be in [Antonio] Conte’s shoes.”
Juve-Inter will be played behind closed doors at the Allianz Stadium this weekend, while Lazio could put pressure on the duo with a win against Bologna already on Saturday.
