Bologna are now more confident than ever they can secure Toulouse defender Logan Costa, as their main competition West Ham United already got Jean-Clair Todibo.

The Rossoblu turned towards the Cape Verde international to strengthen their back line after selling Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal.

They were in the running along with West Ham, but now that the Hammers have snatched Todibo out from under the noses of Juventus in a deal worth €40m with OGC Nice, it leaves the door open for Bologna to get it over the line.

Logan Costa price whittled down

The 23-year-old is under contract with Toulouse until June 2026 and was purchased from Stade Reims for just €0.5m in the summer of 2021.

According to Calciomercato.it, the offer on the table from Bologna is circa €13m plus another €2m in add-ons.

It is well below the original €20m asking price, but they could reach an agreement in the middle at €15m plus bonuses.
