Manuel Locatelli’s agent believes the Milan loanee will stay at Sassuolo ‘for at least another season’.
Locatelli joined Sassuolo on loan last summer with an obligatory purchase option worth €12m plus bonuses, and Stefano Castelnovo made it clear the Italy Under-21 midfielder would not be returning to Milan.
“He had the courage to leave Milan,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He had the courage to leave Milan,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It wasn’t a choice for everyone, but in my opinion it was a winning one. He’s grateful to his former team, but it was right to look forward.
“Sassuolo will buy him for €12m. After that we’ll see, but I really believe he’ll stay for at least another season.”
