Andrea Poli therefore starts in midfield with Nigel de Jong and Marco van Ginkel, while Keisuke Honda is in a trident attack with Mattia Destro and Jeremy Menez.

Antonio Balzano is suspended for Cagliari and Marco Capuano sidelined, but Danilo Avelar and Andrea Cossu return from their bans.

Godfred Donsah and Albin Ekdal have also shaken off knocks.
