He inherits the side from Maurizio Sarri, minus Jorginho, but has a different approach with Milik chosen as the centre-forward and Dries Mertens benched.

Piotr Zielinski is preferred to Fabian Ruiz, with Marek Hamsik given a more central role to replace Jorginho.

David Ospina arrived on transfer deadline day from Arsenal, on loan with option to buy, but the gloves are given to Orestis Karnezis.

Alex Meret was signed from Udinese for over €22m, but fractured a bone in his arm during the second training session.

Lazio are forced to do without suspended Lucas Leiva, Senad Lulic and Patric, while Jordan Lukaku and Valon Berisha are injured.

Capocannoniere Ciro Immobile leads the way with Luis Alberto and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Francesco Acerbi and Milan Badelj are the new additions with Martin Caceres out wide.

Napoli are unbeaten against Lazio since a 4-2 result in May 2015, winning five and drawing one. Their last Serie A defeat at the Olimpico was 3-1 in April 2012, followed by five wins and a 1-1 stalemate.
