Milan star Rafael Leao is ready and ‘fully charged’ before the start of pre-season with Milan: ‘I consider this club is my second family.’
The Portuguese forward will return to Milano on Tuesday evening, resuming training with the Rossoneri at Milanello on Wednesday.
“I took a break on holiday thanks to my family and friends. I continued training anyway and am fully charged to start the new season,” Leao told Gazzetta.
“I’ve spoken to the coach and some of my teammates and feel positive energy. I thank the fans for the many messages they send me every day. I am looking forward to starting.”
Leao signed a contract extension with Milan in May and picked No.10 for 2023-24 after Brahim Diaz’s return to Real Madrid.
“Personally, I have a great desire to do well and give my best with this team and this new number in a club that I consider my second family,” the striker concluded.
