Le Parisien: Pochettino out, Conte offers himself to PSG

Reports in France claim PSG have decided to sack Mauricio Pochettino and Italian Antonio Conte offered his services to them, ready to walk away from Tottenham Hotspur.

Paris Saint-Germain won the Ligue 1 title last night with a 1-1 draw against RC Lens, their 10th championship overall, eighth in the last nine seasons.

According to Le Parisien this evening, a meeting between PSG directors and Pochettino found neither eager to continue their experience together.

The same report also states that Conte offered himself to the Ligue 1 giants and proposed a two-year contract.

However, at the same time, Le Parisien claims Zinedine Zidane remains the first choice, although he is leaning more towards inheriting the France squad rather than accepting this club test.

Conte only just took the Tottenham job on November 2, 2021, managing 17 wins, four draws and 10 defeats in all competition.

The Italian tactician has not disguised his frustration with the lack of transfer activity and would relish the chance to work with Italy internationals Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Verratti.
