Lazio: Sarri calls Allan and targets Kepa

According to Il Messaggero, Maurizio Sarri has called Everton midfielder Allan, asking him to join Lazio in January and the Biancocelesti continue to monitor Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa.

Allan had the best seasons of his career under the Italian tactician at Napoli and Sarri reportedly wants to reunite with the former Partenopei midfielder.

According to Il Messaggero, the coach personally called Allan offering him to join Lazio.

The report claims Everton are open to loaning the 31-year-old until the end of the season, but his high salary is preventing his return to Italy unless Lazio sell some of their players first.

The same goes for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa who is not a regular starter at Stamford Bridge and is also on Lazio’s agenda.

Inter‘s midfielder Matias Vecino is another option in midfield, with the Uruguay international’s contract at San Siro expiring in June. Vecino played under Sarri at Empoli.

But who could leave the Olimpico in January?

Luis Alberto has fallen down in Sarri’s pecking order and the Biancocelesti are looking for a permanent sale for €25-30m. Inter, Milan and Sevilla are monitoring the Spaniard, but are unwilling to offer as much.

Vedat Muriqi could be heading for the Premier League with interest from Leeds United and Hull City, but there are no official offers on the table yet.
