Lazio boss Edy Reja is confident that his side can stop the Inter juggernaut at San Siro next weekend.

The Nerazzurri are the in-form team in Serie A right now, having won their last six games in the championship – including last night’s 1-0 win over Milan.

The capital club will travel to the Meazza in Week 19 and Reja, whose side are a point ahead of the Beneamata in the table, is in optimistic mood.

“Inter put in another great performance last night,” the tactician stated on Monday afternoon. “They are a strong team physically and mentally.

“However, we will go to Milan at the weekend looking for a win – I’m 100 per cent sure of that,” he continued.

The Biancocelesti returned to winning ways on Sunday with a 2-0 triumph over Atalanta, just a week following their 4-0 thrashing at Siena.

“You can have a black-out after the winter break because you are not used to certain rhythms,” continued the former Napoli tactician.

“I just hope that our dip has already come to an end…”

Lazio don’t have a great record at Inter in the League with just seven wins from 68 games. Their last Serie A win there was a 5-3 in October 1998.
